New opera in May 2009
Guy Cassiers, the artistic director of the Toneelhuis in Antwerpen, will stage Zuidams new opera Adam in Ballingschap, (Adam in exile, after a play by Vondel)) which is to be premiered in June 2009. Cassiers also staged the widely acclaimed Holland Festival- production of Rage d'Amours and the McGonagall-Lieder in 2005
